The Latitude, in Kamshet, is a property owned by Armaity and is a classic piece of architecture, designed by Ar. Malak Singh Gill. In addition to the existing villas, Armaity was interested in installing an A-frame structure for herself at the property. The A-Frame home was designed for her to tune in well with the existing architecture at the property.

Nikhil Gandhi was fascinated by the Coons (https://thecoon.co/) and wanted to own a couple, to be installed at his property in Mt. Alterra, near Khandala. The two Coons were to be elevated to get a bird’s eye view of the valley. A common dining area was created between the Coons as a semi-open space. The ground area beneath the Coons was proposed to be leveled and have sliding folding doors on all sides, such that the level below could be used for additional guests, when needed. Above the Coons, a roofed deck area would be made, more like a Machaan.

Aajol Navi Peth is the daycare institute’s first center. This is in the core of Pune city and our proposal was to revive the center. The scheme of design done for all Aajol centers would be applied and additional design elements would be introduced, as per zoning and usage of spaces. The G+2 center becomes home to almost 200 children during the day. Each of the spaces is dynamic and the usage changes at different times of the day. It’s more like a theater, where various performers come in, do their thing and leave.

The intersection was to be beautified by Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited, in partnership with the local government. Two options were proposed. In the 1st one, we proposed to create a scaled-top of the Gulf Oil tower, New York along with landscaping. Though this was the preferred option, the 2nd option was selected. The 2nd option involved use of Portuguese style street lamps on the street dividers along with Warli painting. The territory was ruled by the Portuguese, hence the reference. Warli art is done by the Tribals in Dadra & Nagar Haveli. The beautification would provide an opportunity to showcase the art.

The street beautification to be done was at the border of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Gujarat. We proposed the beautification using letters that would light up at night, on either side, welcoming the visitors on either side of the border crossing. Pavements were lined with swing seats. Swings are an integral part of culture on both sides of the border. Roofs of swing seats had solar panels installed to light up the seating and the landscaping.
